How Invoy got its start
Our 10 year history involves proving the ability to investigate respiratory chemistry and comprehend physiological conditions in different beta populations across the country. Our engineering intensive journey has shaped the health and wellness of thousands of people.
Invoy represents the genesis of deep science and building a company committed to delivering affordable breath analyzers for health and medical applications.
Pediatric Obesity
Invoy started off with a breath analyzer in search of an application. The amazing leadership at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital allowed Invoy to work with different pediatric sub-specialities from endocrinology, ICU to neurology. While there, Lubna and the Invoy team grew increasingly convinced that breath analysis would have a major impact on pediatric obesity. No one wants to have a child step on a judgmental bathroom scale and many kids are academically not able to reliably fill out a food journal.
Pioneering Research in Home Monitoring
With its initial data from NCH in hand, Invoy’s team spent significant time with low socioeconomic families in Raleigh, North Carolina. The team ran multiple clinical studies at support group meetings and with participants who were willing to test at home. From here, Invoy’s team was able to look at unique chemical signatures and link breath analytes to factors that impact fat metabolism.
Enterprise Health and Wellness
Invoy’s early success in changing people’s health trajectory caught the eye of supporters at the enterprise level. Invoy’s value proposition presented a clear win-win for enterprises looking to elevate the health and wellness of their employee populations. Invoy’s science-backed approach with human-centered approach would mean tangible benefits for all stakeholders.
Today
